Foliage is a notebook, not a service. Nothing about your plants travels to us.
- No accounts and no sign-up — there is nothing to log in to.
- Plants, photos and notes stay on your device — and on iPhone and iPad, in your own private iCloud.
- No advertising, and nothing is sold to advertisers.
- Everything works offline. A connection is used only to sync with iCloud on iPhone and iPad, and for anonymous usage counts.
Questions
Is Foliage free?
Yes. Adding plants, setting care schedules and keeping a journal cost nothing. Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks unlimited plants, statistics and custom app icons.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. On iPhone and iPad your garden syncs between them through your own private iCloud account; on Android it stays on the device and travels to a new phone with your Google backup.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Reminders, the journal and statistics all run on the device. On iPhone and iPad a connection is used to sync with iCloud; the Android edition does not sync between devices at all.
Can I track more than watering?
Yes. Watering, fertilizing, pruning, weeding, treatment and moving each get their own interval, and you can add manual tasks with no reminder at all.
Which devices does it run on?
